About Rooney Life & Pensions
The original company, Rooney Insurances, was established in 1964 by Raymond J Rooney. Today the firm has shifted away from the home and car insurance business and operates under the new name, Rooney Life & Pensions Ltd, which is run by Niall Rooney.
We are Multi Agency Intermediaries and Mortgage Intermediaries, regulated by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority. We are members of the LIA, (Life Assurance Association) and the IBA (Irish Brokers Association).
 As Multi Agency Intermediaries, we provide Independent advice. We are not tied to any one company and deal with all the major life assurance companies in Ireland.
We have qualified staff who are committed to Continued Professional Development (CPD) and participate in the CPD programme with the LIA. This means that we keep up to date with any changes in the life assurance industry to ensure we provide relevant financial advice.
